Under supervision of designated supervisor, performing an array of tasks related to maintaining the cleanliness of the dining facilities, including interior rooms and external entrances. Job Duties: Perform tasks relating to the maintenance of floors and all surfaces, including vacuuming, mopping, washing, and sanitizing. Cleaning and/or washing of windows, walls, wall partitions, and glass. Awareness of proper chemicals and their use. Responsible for providing a clean and healthy environment in lavatories and locker areas. Cleaning of hard floor surfaces and carpet floor coverings, including extraction of stains and shampooing of carpets. Collect all waste material from offices, sort recyclables, and relocate to outdoor collection bins. Shovel or sweep snow from steps and immediate area at building entrances. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize. Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment, as necessary. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends. Must be able to physically meet the demands of the position including lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, and pushing loads up to 50lbs. Exposure to inclement weather conditions for prolonged periods of time, due to external snow/ice removal and sanding/salting walkways. Knowledge of bloodborne pathogen kit usage 1 Year Experience ServSafe Certified Knowledge of food service techniques, sanitation, and safety. Must have a guest service passion and the ability to work with diverse teams.
