Full Job Description
Cozy Childcare & Learning Center is looking for an Assistant Director to work along our Director to manage our center at Hephzibah or Augusta GA.
The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience in managing all aspects of a daycare center, as well as strong leadership skills. You should display a friendly demeanor, have a love for children, and strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment for both children and teachers.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and Manager Child Teacher Ratios
- Ensure that facility is safe for children and comply with all rules and regulations.
- Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and center policies.
- Experience in - building trust with parents, marketing, budgeting, managing staff, conflict resolution and compliance with state rules
- Assist with enrolling new families, retaining existing accounts and fee collections.
- Participate in Bus runs to/from Schools
- Experience with managing Kitchen and Food Program CACFP
- Manager and coordinate with BFTS rules, regulations, and policies regarding licensing, GA Pre-K, CAPS, CACFP and all state and federal programs.
- Cover center and act as backup for Director when director is absent
- Requirements:
- Clean Background, Employment & Fingerprint checks
- Comply with local, state, and federal laws for childcare centers
- Must be organized, disciplined and follow the budget, control payroll
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.'
