Job Summary:
Client is seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Reporting Developer to support enterprise-wide reporting needs across HR, Payroll, and Finance domains within a large healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Workday reporting, data analysis, and integrations, with experience supporting hospital or healthcare systems preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Workday custom reports, including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Dashboards
Build and optimize Calculated Fields to support complex business requirements
Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
Support Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio – as applicable) for reporting and downstream systems
Ensure data accuracy, validation, and compliance with healthcare and internal reporting standards
Troubleshoot reporting issues, performance concerns, and data discrepancies
Assist with Workday enhancements, upgrades, and testing cycles
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer as needed
Required Skills & Experience:
5 years of hands-on Workday Reporting experience
Strong expertise in Advanced, Matrix, Composite Reports, and Dashboards
Deep understanding of Workday business objects and calculated fields
Experience supporting Healthcare / Hospital systems is highly preferred
Exposure to Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and/or Financials reporting
Working knowledge of Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
