Duties
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work to specifications.
- Carry out roofing repairs and installations, ensuring durability and weatherproofing.
- Execute construction painting, preparing surfaces and applying finishes to meet project standards.
- Conduct plumbing work such as pipe fitting, leak repairs, and fixture installations.
- Undertake masonry activities including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete work.
- Carry out welding operations for structural or decorative purposes using appropriate techniques.
- Install and maintain electrical systems in compliance with safety regulations and client requirements.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently across various tasks.
- Engage in fabrication activities including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials as needed for projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work or related trades.
