Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects that require precision, efficiency, and a keen eye for detail. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans.
- Perform framing, including metal stud framing and heavy timber construction, ensuring structural integrity.
- Install doors, windows, cabinetry, fixtures, siding, roofing, and flooring with precision and care.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing materials.
- Conduct demolition, restoration work, water damage remediation, mold remediation, and other repair projects with attention to detail.
- Measure accurately using tape measures, levels, squares, and other measuring devices to meet project specifications.
- Assist with construction estimating and material fabrication as needed for project planning and execution.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards while maintaining a clean job site.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues on-site and adapt plans accordingly.
- Support installation of plumbing, electrical components, masonry work, or HVAC systems when required.
Experience
- Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong background in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.
- Extensive hands-on experience in trim carpentry, framing carpentry (including metal studs), roofing, siding installation, and cabinetry.
- Skilled in working with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers as well as power tools including drills, saws, sanders.
- Demonstrated ability in concrete forming, plastering, drywall installation (including caulking), stucco application, and flooring installation.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration processes, mold remediation techniques, and general restoration industry standards.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery operation or fabrication processes is a plus.
- Experience working on construction sites with heavy lifting requirements while maintaining safety protocols.
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics accurately; experience with schematics related to electrical or plumbing systems is advantageous.
- Prior involvement in remodeling projects or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of building codes related to masonry, metal stud framing, fixture installation, tile laying, roofing systems & electrical work.
