Oversee the production process to ensure delivery of high-quality
products that meet the customers needs
Ensure appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays
Collaborate with Customer Service and sales departments to identify and
resolve quality concerns
Identify any bottlenecks or delays in production; ensure necessary
labor, materials and other resources are available to relieve production
bottlenecks and delays
Use production planning and scheduling to limit material shortages
Ensure production machinery complies with professional and safety
standards
Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
Resolve employee, customer or contractor issues
Coordinate with internal and external parties to exchange relevant

Represent the organization in external relations, including negotiations
Act as liaison between departments or other groups to improve function,
performance or communication
Review applicable organizational policies and procedures, ensuring
accuracy and relevance and communicate said policies and procedures,
updating as necessary
Ensure CARs (Corrective Action Reports) are submitted on time with
proper resolutions
Enforce safety and health regulations
Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the
production or processing of goods, such as operators or general
production workers
