About the Role
- We are seeking a Senior Data & Analytics/ Specialist Engineer to help design, build, and support enterprise data, reporting, and application solutions that enable data-driven decision making across manufacturing operations and business functions.
- This role combines data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, application development, and enterprise integrations to deliver scalable and reliable solutions across the organization.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL Server expertise, hands-on Power BI experience, and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and manufacturing business processes.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of professional experience in application development, data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics engineering roles with significant data responsibilities.
- Advanced SQL skills including:
- Complex query development
- Stored procedures, views, and functions
- Performance tuning and optimization
- Indexing strategies and database object development.
- Demonstrated experience with:
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Power BI
- Strong Power BI expertise including:
- Data modeling
- DAX development
- Power Query transformations
- Dataset and report performance optimization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data warehouse and analytics engineering concepts including dimensional modeling, curated datasets, and governed semantic layers.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with React or similar front-end frameworks.
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs and system-to-system integrations.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience developing SPFx web parts and/or Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) components.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripting, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile delivery practices.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and enterprise AI tooling is a plus.
- Manufacturing or distribution business process experience including inventory, purchasing, logistics, and order lifecycle management is highly preferred.
