Dimensional Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Perform first-piece, in-process, incoming, and final inspections
• Use measuring tools and inspection equipment including: CMMs, Height Gages, Calipers, Micrometers
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Verify products meet customer and engineering specifications
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation
• Collect and compile statistical quality data
• Assist in investigating product defects and rework issues
• Ensure measuring equipment is properly calibrated and functioning
• Recommend improvements to inspection and manufacturing processes

Desired Background/Skills:

• Previous quality inspection experience required
• CMM experience is required (basic experience will be considered)
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
• High School Diploma or GED
• Manufacturing, machining, or related technical training preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic math and technical reading skills
