Production Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform visual quality inspections of finished products, including checking fill levels, packaging, and product appearance.
• Package finished goods according to established specifications and quality standards.
• Complete production and operational work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Set up equipment and perform machine changeovers as needed.
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance and equipment cleaning activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in daily operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and lean manufacturing projects.
• Utilize proper lifting, bending, and twisting techniques while performing job duties.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience in chemical or glass manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
