Associate Director of Sales
As an Associate Director of Sales at CoWorx, you’ll play a key role in expanding our client base and strengthening our presence in the market. This is a high‑impact, outside sales role focused on driving new business, building lasting partnerships, and owning your territory with confidence.
You’ll generate new opportunities through prospecting, cold outreach, territory planning, and strategic relationship building, targeting midsize to large accounts ($500K–$1.99M ). While you’ll own a defined regional territory, you’ll also have the opportunity to support national accounts as assigned by the Head of Sales.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & New Business Development
- Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales budgets.
- Identify and generate new business through cold calling, prospecting, territory planning, and strategic relationship development.
- Perform thorough prospecting and screening activities to identify qualified clients for new business opportunities.
- Use advanced consultative sales strategies to overcome client objections and maximize sales performance within assigned territory.
- Target midsize to large accounts ($500K–$1.99M ) across assigned regions, with additional national account responsibilities.
- Maintain strong awareness of competitive market share, pricing models, service offerings, and industry trends.
- Travel within the local market and broader assigned regions to support business development efforts as needed.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain strong public relations and networking channels within the community and industry.
- Build trusted, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers across mid-to-large enterprise accounts.
- Conduct formal, tailored sales presentations for prospective business accounts and lead follow-up communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive and customized sales presentations and proposal materials.
- Partner with field management to establish competitive pricing for quotes and bids aligned with company financial objectives.
Sales Operations & Documentation
- Document all sales activities accurately and consistently in Salesforce.com and maintain comprehensive account records.
- Use internal systems and market insights to support territory planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Ensure alignment with organizational expectations, communication standards, and reporting requirements.
Collaboration & Values
- Work collaboratively as part of a unified team, sharing insights, supporting colleagues, and contributing to shared goals.

What Success Looks Like
- Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual territory sales budgets and activity goals.
- Builds strong, trust-based relationships that result in securing midsize and large accounts.
- Consistently demonstrates effective strategic and consultative selling techniques, resulting in successful proposal conversions.
- Maintains expertise in competitive landscape and uses insights to shape sales strategy and positioning.
- Maintains accurate Salesforce documentation and adheres to all internal processes to support forecasting and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing, or related field).
- 7 years of B2B sales experience (staffing industry preferred).
- Proven track record of sales success within mid-to-large accounts.
- Strong rapport-building, relationship-management, and strategic selling abilities.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms preferred.
- Highly proficient in presentations, negotiation, and executive communication.
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
