Position Title: Lot Attendant
Status: Full-time
Salary: $18.75 - 25.00/hr.
Hours: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
About this role:
As a River Park Square Lot Attendant, this position serves to facilitate daily garage maintenance and all other garage maintenance projects. The Lot Attendant will clean and maintain all parking levels, follow operational procedures, and work to find maintenance efficiencies within the parking facility, in addition to maintaining ticketing equipment. The Lot Attendant will perform various maintenance duties and regular maintenance duties such as light changing, painting, door repairs, snow removal and sweeper operation.
What you'll do:
- Open garage gates at 6am daily.
- Review previous day’s maintenance tasks for completion.
- Stock ticketing equipment as needed and maintain daily.
- Clean all debris from garage daily, use sweepers as needed.
- Perform a daily lighting check and replace as needed.
- Walk entire garage checking for debris, illegally parked cars, and suspicious behaviors throughout the shift.
- Operate paint striping machine – seasonal.
- Snow removal, as needed.
- Cashiering may be required.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you'll contribute to our team:
- High school Diploma or GED; minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to deal effectively with customers by maintaining a pleasant and mannerly demeanor when speaking with customers
- Ability to anticipate and provide solutions to customers’ needs
- Ability to give high priority to customer satisfaction and deal tactfully and effectively with differences of opinion
- Ability to obtain positive results in adverse situations; ability to maintain customer confidence and trust
- Must be able to listen effectively and understand customer concerns and requests to pass information to another for resolution, as necessary
- May resolve routine customer concerns and respond to routine requests
- Ability to stand inside and outside of work area to be visible and approachable, while maintaining primary job functions
