General Definition of Work
Performs intermediate work as the direct contact for all association athletics, managing relationships with all the athletic associations, working as a liaison for tournament and league requests, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Director of Parks and Recreation.

Essential Functions
Serves as the point of contact for all leagues and their boards, handles any complaints and issues
Manages league and park schedules across the park system, manages any discrepancies
Communicates needs to detail crews as assigned and regularly provides updates
Confirms that all users are meeting the criteria established in their agreement with Coweta County
Reviews any background checks and provides guidance to leagues on disciplinary action
Schedules for any parks that are not under agreement and serve as point of contact for tournament requests
Order field supplies and keep inventory of field supplies, advises on best practice for field maintenance
Manages external athletic partnerships, including SOGA, and BOE requests
Represents Coweta County Parks and Recreation at regional league meetings and activities
Reviews maintenance of athletic parks and submits requests to proper channels
Performs field maintenance as necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of related industry, organization, and department policies, practices, and procedures; comprehensive knowledge of related industry, organization, and departmental legal guides, recommendations, best practices, ordinance and laws; thorough understanding of data entry processes and necessary formats; comprehensive understanding of the review of GCIC and NCIC background checks; comprehensive understanding of complex scheduling and Control link software; thorough ability to process and maintain agreements and payments; thorough ability to provide user reports, legible reports, and maintain daily reports; ability to use standard office equipment and software; ability to use standard accounting software, CivicREC software, and Muscolink; ability to use mower with drag, miscellaneous landscape equipment, and truck with trailer; ability to make arithmetic computations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages; ability to compute and interpret basic data; experience working with offenders; ability to use geometry and teach measurements to offenders and officers; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with citizens, County staff, volunteer boards, outside contractors, and the general public.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree with coursework in Recreation, Sports Management, or related field and considerable experience in Parks & Recreation working with volunteer boards, understanding of field maintenance and organization, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires speaking or hearing and using hands to finger, handle or feel, frequently requires standing, walking and sitting and occasionally requires stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, pushing or pulling, lifting and repetitive motions; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work
requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, using of measuring devices, operating motor vehicles or equipment and observing general surroundings and activities; work occasionally requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
Special Requirements.
Favorable background history as determined by review of local, State and Federal records.
Valid driver’s license in the State of Georgia with a favorable driving history (MVR).
