Job Summary
An Industrial Services Technician at Cowart Industrial Services performs waste clean-up, tank cleaning, and specialized industrial maintenance. This physically demanding, field-based role requires confined space entry, working at heights, and operating heavy equipment like ultra-high-pressure hydro-blasting units and industrial vacuum trucks. Key responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Operate specialized gear such as high-pressure pumps, chemical cleaning systems, and manual or automated hydro-blasting equipment, vacuum trucks, airmovers,
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain safety policies on all job sites.
- Site Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery, clear out non-hazardous materials, and ensure surfaces meet customer specifications.
- Physical Demands: Work in confined spaces, stand for extended periods, and perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) in varying weather and plant environments.
- Emergency Response: Participate in on-call rotations for various emergency responses and site remediation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background checks, physicals, and drug tests.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, vacuum trucks, confined space, non hazardous handling, emergency response, tank cleaning, pressure washing (higer level)
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
