Cowan is NOT defined by what we do as individuals but who we are as a team JOB OBJECTIVE The Driver Onboarding and Success Coach will provide support for the new drivers joining Cowan by serving as the first line of contact for the drivers The Driver Onboarding and Success Coach acts as an advocate for drivers by providing guidance interpretation and various driver related inquiries Responsible for efficient and courteous resolution to verbal and written inquiries to ensure internal driver satisfaction ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Communicate with potential drivers prior to orientation introductions confirm position understanding confirm attendanceStage the orientation space by printing new hire packets gathering safety documents providing various tools used in the orientation processVarious HR functions including badge photos I 9 Verifications submitting new hire paperwork to Compliance & SafetyVerifying assigned tractorsunits are in presentable and acceptable condition for new employeesExecute a successful handoff from orientation to operations through facilitating meetings with fleet managers providing copies of travel information and ensuring they have all needed contact information prior to departureProvide remedial training and guidance to post orientation driversConflict mediation between drivers and support departmentsCommunicate with operations personnel confirming after orientation assignments for incoming driversPresent company information and explain company culture during orientation while building loyalty NOTE This job description should not be
