Position Summary:
Cowan’s Ford Golf Club is seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Specialist to support the upkeep and daily maintenance of our clubhouse, grounds, and overall property. This individual plays a key role in ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and reflective of the high standards our members expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across clubhouse facilities and club property
- Address work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain and troubleshoot systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general mechanical components
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure longevity of equipment and facilities
- Support event setup and breakdown as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and storage spaces
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary
- Identify and report potential safety hazards or needed repairs proactively
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, or a related field preferred
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing a high level of service
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
