Job Summary
The Service Manager supports the Irrigation Department by managing administrative tasks, coordinating field operations, maintaining accurate documentation, and tracking service and installation project progress. This role oversees the daily workflow of the irrigation division, including scheduling, material tracking, technician assignments, estimating support, and customer communication.During the winter season, this position assists the Snow Removal Management Team with operational oversight, route coordination, equipment tracking, and communication between field crews and management. This is a year-round operational role that also provides daily support to the truck and equipment repair shop. Key Responsibilities:
Irrigation Department
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating irrigation service activities.
- Manage irrigation start-ups, shutdowns, repairs, and seasonal service routing.
- Set up and prepare field estimates for additional or recommended work.
- Coordinate small projects from planning through completion.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, irrigation reports, service tickets, and customer records.
- Track project progress, deadlines, deliverables, materials, and payment collection.
- Communicate with technicians and clients to gather information and provide timely updates.
- Prepare agendas, distribute follow-ups, and maintain department calendars.
- Support procurement by preparing purchase orders and tracking materials and invoicing.
- Identify risks, delays, or recurring service issues and escalate them to management.
- Ensure compliance with Cow Bay procedures, safety standards, and project requirements.
Snow Removal Operations (Seasonal)
- Assist the Snow Removal Manager with pre-storm planning, crew assignments, and route coordination.
- Track equipment readiness and pre-season checklists.
- Coordinate communication between plow crews, shoveling teams, shop staff, and managers.
- Monitor weather alerts, update operations boards, and assist in crew deployment during storm events.
- Assist with invoicing, service documentation, timekeeping, and after-storm reporting.
- Support customer service needs during snow events, including issue logging and dispatch communication.
Truck & Equipment Auto Shop Support
- Assist with daily shop activities, including invoicing and material tracking.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required; college education preferred (transcript required).
- 1–3 years of administrative, project coordination, or related experience.

Pay: $52,542.96 - $62,400.00 per year
