The Social Media Marketing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dearborn, MI. This individual will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.

The ideal candidate understands social media algorithms, audience engagement, content creation, and video editing. They should be capable of producing high-quality short-form videos, graphics, and marketing content that align with the Covision Consultants brand.

Daily responsibilities include planning and scheduling content, filming and editing videos, managing social media accounts, monitoring engagement, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing content strategies to increase reach, engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.

The Social Media Marketing Manager will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content supports broader business development objectives while maintaining a consistent and professional online presence.

• Social Media Marketing: Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts, developing content strategies, and growing audience engagement.
• Video Editing & Content Creation: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools. Ability to create engaging short-form videos, reels, and promotional content.
• Social Media Algorithms: Strong understanding of how algorithms work across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other major platforms, including content distribution, audience retention, engagement signals, and platform-specific best practices.
• Digital Marketing: Foundational knowledge of digital marketing principles, branding, audience targeting, and lead generation.
• Content Strategy: Ability to research trends, develop creative content ideas, and create effective posting schedules that align with company objectives.
• Analytics & Performance Tracking: Experience analyzing social media insights, identifying performance trends, and adjusting strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
• Graphic Design: Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar design software to produce professional visual content.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write engaging captions, marketing copy, and clear brand messaging.
• Organization & Accountability: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and consistently follow brand guidelines.
• Education & Experience: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred. Relevant professional experience and a strong portfolio may be considered in place of formal education.
• On-Site Availability: Ability to work in person in Dearborn, Michigan, collaborate with team members, and participate in company content production.

• Experience filming and editing professional business or corporate content.
• Understanding of motion graphics, animations, and visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and social media discoverability.
• Experience managing paid social media advertising campaigns.
• Ability to translate complex business concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand social media content.
• A portfolio demonstrating video editing skills, social media content creation, and measurable account growth.
