Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, upsell specials, and recommend wine or drink pairings to enhance the guest experience
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety
- Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations
- Clear tables, bus tables as needed, and assist with basic food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, manage cash handling responsibilities, and process payments efficiently
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for reservations and order management
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours without compromising service quality
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in upselling menu items or beverages to increase sales opportunities
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
