ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Using daily Production Control Reports, distribute the workflow of raw materials to operators.
- Keep on floor inventory at a minimum with as few requests as possible.
- Follow up on items that are hot.
- Put products in to work by order of importance as determined by Supervisor.
- Look ahead at what is next so as to be prepared.
- Prepare work kits. This includes cutting things needed to complete the kit.
- Supply Off-Line operators with work and Sub-Assemblies as needed.
- Report all incomplete orders from cutting to department Supervisor.
- Get samples when necessary.
- Report to the Supervisor, Manager or Lead person when product flow is not flowing smoothly.
- General Housekeeping duties
- Report any areas of concern to the Supervisor or Manager.
- Any other functions deemed necessary by the Supervisor.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Ability to read and write numbers and to understand simple written English instructions.
- Good communication skills.
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
1 to 3 months related experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have 20/20 vision or corrected to 20/20.
- Must be able to perceive colors and shades of colors.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on occasional basis.
- Must be able to stand, walk and/or sit for alternating periods of time throughout shift.
- Must be able to work in moderate noise levels.
- Must be able to bend, reach, twist, stoop, squat and grasp with hands.
Salary : $14 - $15
