ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Put into work all Priority List Goods and ensure that they are sewn and packed in accordance with the demands of the list.
• Make sure correct Instruction sheets go in each box.
• Do kits as needed.
• Print labels and put on boxes.
• Pack and palletize all finished goods.
• General housekeeping.
• Any other functions deemed necessary by the supervisor.
• Inspect for Quality Assurance.
• Pack and prepare all finished products for shipping.
• Daily maintenance of area and machine.

AUTHORITY:

All personnel are responsible for quality and therefore have the authority to stop production, if necessary to correct quality problems.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Ability to read and write numbers and to understand simple written English instructions.
• Basic knowledge of product line.
• Be able to be trained on how to pack each product according to customers specifications.

Must be able to be trained to use a computer.

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

1 to 3 months previous packing experience and/or training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have 20/20 vision or corrected to 20/20.

Must be able to perceive colors and shades.

Must be able to stand for entire shift.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on continuous basis.

Must be able to lift, stoop, squat, bend and twist.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work in moderate noise levels.
