Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and setup under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards related to cleaning and food handling
- Assist with light food prep or catering setup during busy service times if required
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining an organized work environment to facilitate smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous dishwashing and/or restaurant experience required
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work weekends only, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced setting
- Prior experience with bussing, food preparation, or culinary activities is advantageous but not required
