Covenant Village, the premier Life Plan Retirement Community is seeking a full-time Technology Support Specialist who can provide hands-on technical support, training, and education. The Specialist will assist others to confidently use personal devices, in-unit services, and community technology resources as well as collaborate with staff to enhance residents' quality of life. The Specialist will maintain life safety equipment, support AV needs in community spaces, and serve as a liaison during emergencies and technology rollouts.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for residents seeking assistance with technology, including smartphones, tablets, computers, smart devices, cable TV, internet, and AV systems.
- Provide one-on-one and group training sessions for residents to promote digital literacy and safe technology use.
- Conduct New Resident Technology Orientation with residents entering the community.
- Ensure accessibility and adaptive support for residents with physical or cognitive limitations.
- Document support requests, resolutions, and recurring issues to improve service delivery.
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain technology services, including, but not limited to, phone, cable TV, and internet.
- Develop and update educational materials, guides, and FAQs.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology into daily activities and community events.
- Provide AV support for community spaces, including the Assembly Room, meeting rooms, and event venues.
- Act as a liaison for emergencies and technology rollouts, ensuring effective communication and coordination between residents, staff, and the broader Technology Department.
- Support and maintain life safety equipment (i.e., nurse call systems, fire alarms, resident pendants), performing regular safety checks and drills.
- Represent Covenant Village’s mission, vision, and CV CARES core values in all interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for resident privacy.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in technical support, customer service, or training.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Microsoft, or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills; patience and empathy are essential.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across a variety of devices and platforms.
- Physical ability to work in varied environments and handle equipment.
- Ability to balance, climb, crouch, pull, push, reach, stand for long periods of time, stoop, lift 40 pounds, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to follow instructions, give attention to detail and work well with others.
