Drain Technician

The Drain Cleaning Technician delivers professional drain cleaning services while providing an exceptional customer experience. This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving drain and sewer issues, educating customers on solutions, and helping maintain the high service standards Covenant Plumbing is known for. The technician works closely with customers to explain problems, recommend solutions, and ensure every service call results in a positive, five-star experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drain Cleaning & Technical Services

• Perform drain cleaning services including cable work, jetting, and other drain clearing solutions.
• Diagnose causes of blockages and determine the most effective service solutions.
• Maintain and operate drain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Keep service vehicles stocked, organized, and properly maintained.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
• Educate customers on preventative maintenance, sewer repair options, and system care.
• Present service options and maintenance plans when appropriate.
• Follow company processes, safety guidelines, and operational standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent, required
• Experience in drain cleaning, plumbing or related service, required
• Ability to confidently present service options and recommendations to customers while maintaining a consultative, customer-first approach.
• Comfortable discussing repair, replacement, and maintenance solutions that help customers make informed decisions.
