Location - San Antonio, TX or Findlay, OH (Hybrid – 4 days onsite per week).

Must Have Skills:
- Strong leadership experience managing engineering teams within modern Azure-based analytics and data engineering environments
- Deep expertise with Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps Services, and enterprise Azure Data Platform architecture
- Experience building scalable enterprise data ecosystems leveraging Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, and Medallion design patterns
- Proven background driving engineering standards, DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, platform reliability, and code quality across data engineering teams
- Experience supporting Data Governance enablement initiatives and governance-focused processes/tooling
Responsibilities and Job Details:
- Lead the development, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise Azure analytics and data platforms
- Manage and mentor engineering teams focused on scalable cloud-first analytics and shared data services
- Drive engineering roadmap alignment with enterprise architecture, scalability, and cost-efficiency objectives
- Partner cross-functionally with Data Science, Analytics, Product, Architecture, and Governance teams to deliver trusted and reusable data products
- Champion governed self-service analytics and AI/ML enablement initiatives across the enterprise
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices including documentation standards, design reviews, reusable templates, and maintainable code practices
- Oversee DevSecOps adoption, CI/CD implementation, secure release management, and platform reliability initiatives
- Ensure operational accountability across staffing, employee development, performance management, and delivery execution
- Lead modernization and transformation initiatives supporting enterprise cloud data platform adoption
- Promote a culture of innovation, continuous learning, collaboration, and data-driven decision making
- Drive agile delivery methodologies and continuous improvement efforts across engineering teams
- Support enterprise-wide analytics initiatives by ensuring highly scalable, secure, and reliable data platform capabilities
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
