Job Title - Senior Engineer, Security Operations and Architecture
Location - Plantation, FL (Hybrid – 4 days onsite per week)
Role Type - 6-month contract engagement with potential extension up to 1 year
Must Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience managing and optimizing SIEM platforms and enterprise vulnerability management programs
- Experience operating across both Security Operations and Security Architecture functions within enterprise environments
- Expertise supporting and tuning enterprise security technologies including EDR/XDR, firewalls, identity security, email security, and cloud security platforms
- Senior-level technical leadership experience including mentoring engineers, acting as a technical escalation point, and collaborating with executive stakeholders
- Experience working within complex hybrid infrastructure environments spanning cloud and on-premises systems
Responsibilities and Job Details:
- Serve as a senior technical resource supporting both security operations and security architecture initiatives
- Manage, optimize, and improve SIEM and enterprise vulnerability management programs
- Support enterprise-wide cybersecurity operations across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, SOC, compliance, and leadership teams on security initiatives
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security engineers
- Act as an escalation point for complex cybersecurity incidents and operational challenges
- Assist with modernization efforts to improve overall security posture and operational maturity
- Support and tune security technologies including EDR/XDR, firewalls, IAM, email security, and cloud security tools
- Participate in architectural planning and long-term cybersecurity strategy discussions
- Interface with executive stakeholders and customer-facing teams when required
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies within the security program
- Balance hands-on operational execution with strategic security architecture responsibilities
Salary : $35 - $42
