Location - Onsite in San Antonio, TX (primary); additional locations include Denver, CO; Findlay, OH; and Houston, TX

Must Have Skills:
- Proven experience leading and managing data platform teams, including direct people leadership and performance management
- Deep expertise in modern cloud-based data platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Power BI, Purview)
- Strong ability to translate business priorities into scalable data platform capabilities for analytics and AI/ML
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML, MLOps/DevOps, and automation (RPA, agentic AI)
- Experience with platform reliability, governance, security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX/FERC)
Responsibilities and Job Details:
- Lead the Data Development and Analytics Platforms Engineering team, driving strategy and execution
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise data platforms, including design, delivery, and evolution
- Build and enable trusted, reusable data products across multiple business value chains
- Manage cross-functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, UI/UX designers, and automation specialists
- Own AI/ML platforms, automation initiatives (RPA), and advanced data capabilities such as knowledge graphs
- Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, incident management, and continuous optimization
- Drive governance, security, and compliance across enterprise data environments
- Partner with business stakeholders to align data capabilities with strategic objectives
- Manage vendor relationships and external partners to support platform initiatives
- Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and project portfolio governance
- Coach and develop team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
- Promote best practices in data engineering, platform operations, and innovation initiatives
Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
