We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Supervisor to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys providing direct care while mentoring caregivers, building relationships with clients and families, and ensuring exceptional service throughout every stage of care.
Position Summary
The PCA Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality of non-medical home care services while also providing direct client care when needed. This position conducts new client assessments and sign-ups, performs supervisory visits, trains and supports caregivers, and works closely with the Administrator to ensure clients receive exceptional care.
The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, a strong communicator, and comfortable balancing caregiving with leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Client Care & Admissions
- Conduct new client assessments and Start of Care visits.
- Complete client admissions and required onboarding paperwork.
- Develop individualized care plans based on each client's needs.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- Provide hands-on personal care and companionship services as needed.
- Conduct routine supervisory visits to ensure quality of care.
Caregiver Supervision
- Supervise and support Personal Care Assistants in the field.
- Train, mentor, and coach caregivers on company policies and client expectations.
- Conduct competency evaluations and performance observations.
- Address caregiver concerns and provide ongoing support.
- Promote professionalism and excellent customer service.
Client & Team Communication
- Communicate regularly with the Administrator regarding new clients, client needs, concerns, changes in condition, and service-related issues.
- Collaborate with the scheduling team regarding staffing needs and client schedule changes.
- Maintain positive communication with referral partners, families, and healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Respond promptly to client concerns and assist with problem resolution.
Quality Assurance
- Monitor client satisfaction and ensure services meet Covenant Home Care's standards.
- Ensure caregivers are following care plans and agency policies.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
- Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and caregiver performance.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with Pennsylvania home care regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or similar caregiving role required.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical caregiving duties.
- Ability to pass all required background checks.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
