Speech Language Pathologist

**Description** The practice of speech-language pathology shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, communication, and demonstration of techniques addressing speech-language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to meet the needs of patients and their families with supervisory guidance provided as needed. Coursework/Training: Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year. Upon hire: Texas Speech Language Pathologist License, or upon hire: New Mexico Speech Language Pathologist - New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Practices Board (Vendor Managed) License in state of hire and wherever care is delivered Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association **Preferred Qualifications:** Coursework/Training: Educated or trained in dysphagia assessment and management. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
