The Admission Coordinator Assistant collects, documents and communicates information relative to patients requiring admission in accordance with established department policies, procedures and workflows.
This position will work in partnership with the Administrative Nursing Admission Coordinator (ANAC) and in collaboration with multiple departments, physicians, nursing staff, and other key stakeholders on a regular basis. In addition, this job may include other duties as directed.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Healthcare related program. Two years of equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting may be accepted in lieu of the degree requirement. Or equivalent educ/experience
- 2 years Job related experience (including, but not limited to ED, critical care, call center, front office) in a healthcare setting.
- 4 years Applicants without an Associate’s degree must have four (4) years of job related experience.
