Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Traditional Classroom Teachers to foster a positive learning environment for students across various grade levels. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and early childhood education.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and regular evaluations; adjust instruction accordingly.
- Incorporate learning technology and library services to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
- Provide tutoring and additional support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism or requiring early intervention.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, education administration tasks, and school-wide initiatives.
- Mentor students by fostering social skills, mentoring programs, and supporting their overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral reports while ensuring compliance with school policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Skills
- Proven experience working with students in a classroom setting across various age groups; familiarity with early childhood education and childhood development principles.
- Strong classroom management skills coupled with behavior management techniques to maintain an organized learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, and integrating learning technology into lessons.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures, literacy education strategies, math instruction, and tutoring methods.
