We are seeking a caring and dependable Classroom Assistant Teacher to support our 3-year-old classroom.
Position Summary
The Classroom Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. This role includes assisting with daily routines, learning activities, supervision, and helping children build social, emotional, and early learning skills.
Responsibilities
Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily activities and lesson plans- Engage with children through play, conversation, reading, and learning activities
- Assist with classroom organization, transitions, and routines
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
- Support positive behavior guidance and social development
- Communicate respectfully with families and team members
- Document daily activities and child interactions as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required- Experience working with young children required
- Must meet Florida DCF training requirements for childcare staff
Patient, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with young children - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
