What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Clerk- Seasonal position at Cove Communities?
This position will be at our Holiday RV location. As a first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Clerk provides superior service to all guests when checking visitors in and out of the resort, answers questions as well as help to resolve any issues.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Must have working knowledge of the facilities, layout, programs, product line and reservation system
- Process guest check-ins & check-outs
- Assist guests with resort services
- Check to assure visitors have departed the resort
- In advance of guests’ arrival, create check-in packets for guests
- Run reports from the reservation system on a daily basis
- Keep Community Manager apprised of any issues or incidents that occur and may need to be acted upon
- Mail confirmations & other mailings that are needed
- Communicate with other departments to support customer satisfaction
- Support all Cove Communities policy at all times
- All other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must possess superior customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and guests
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of computerized reservations systems
Education and Experience
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy
- RV camping knowledge a plus
- Reservation experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Lifting of up to 25 lbs.
