Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a part-time Starbucks Barista to join our team at the Courtyard at Kennedy in Titusville, Florida. As a Starbucks Barista, you will provide the Starbucks Experience to our guests by delivering prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Hourly wage can average $20.00 / hr (base pay of $12.00 + tips), with top performers earning much more.

What will you do?
- Act with guest service excellence, integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks.
- Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following all health, safety, and proper sanitation guidelines.
- Serving guests according to Marriott brand standards for the Bistro Breakfast.
- Properly record all transactions via the point of sale system and inform guests of the amount owed.
- Collect the proper money for food and beverage items; process credit cards or determine correct change for guests.
- Account for all transactions; maintain accurate cash count and balance banks at end of shift.
- Perform clean-up duties to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment.
- Assist with new team member training and oerform other duties as assigned.
More about you
- Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
- Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Previous Barista experience preferred.
- Ability to follow product preparation and serving protocols consistently to meet company standards.
- Ability to operate a POS system to record orders, process payments and accept and account for cash transactions accurately.
- Display commitment to extending professional, friendly guest service to guests, co-workers and management.
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings,weekends, and holidays.
Physical requirements
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to remain stationary for the entire length of shift.
- Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.
- Visual and hearing acuity sufficient to record and process transactions.
