Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and menus
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development
- meet special dietary needs of residents to include different diet consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with food service during meal times
Experience:
- Previous experience working in the food industry as a cook is plus but not necessary
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and knife skills
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Menu planning experience is a plus
