Duties

• Greet guests and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and directions as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the lobby area, including dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and surface sanitization
• Perform floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing to ensure a spotless environment
• Conduct routine janitorial duties with attention to detail, ensuring restrooms and common areas are hygienic and well-stocked
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks in public spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and comfort
• Monitor the lobby for safety hazards or maintenance issues and report them promptly for resolution
• Support overall custodial efforts by using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a focus on hospitality or hotel environments
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing floors
• Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper equipment use
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and walking throughout the shift
• Experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeper management is a plus but not required
• Prior hospitality or hotel experience highly valued for delivering exceptional guest service

Pay: From $14.75 per hour
