Courtyard by Marriott Orlando Airport is seeking an experienced Rooms Inspector for their Housekeeping department. Compensation is competitive based on experience. Must have open availability, including holidays, nights and weekends. Company benefits include 401k, employee discounts, and much more.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly or indirectly supervises associates and/or supervisors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure overall cleanliness of the hotel by supervising daily housekeeping activities, maintaining organized work schedules, and coordinating with other departments.
- Train, motivate, and monitor housekeeping staff, ensuring high performance, adherence to safety protocols, and exceptional service standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring cleanliness meets brand standards; implement a 100-point room inspection system.
- Maintain proper linen, cleaning supplies, and amenities; manage requisitions and purchases while staying within budget.
- Enforce safety rules, address maintenance needs, and coordinate with engineering for timely repairs and upkeep.
- Keep leadership informed of significant issues, monitor performance metrics, and ensure compliance with hotel and franchise standards.

Experience/Education
High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Prior experience in a housekeeping supervisory or inspector role in a similar sized brand hotel. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
