Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling duties efficiently, including processing payments and balancing registers at shift end.
- Support catering events or banquet functions as needed, delivering high-quality service in various hospitality settings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or special events like nightclub nights or private parties.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Demonstrated sales ability through upselling drinks or promoting specials to increase revenue.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management.
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus for supporting various hospitality functions.
- Exceptional customer service skills coupled with a friendly attitude that makes every guest feel valued.
