Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
• Handle laundry operations efficiently, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and guest clothing with care and precision
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, mops, and chemical agents while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines
• Maintain sanitation in public areas like lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by executing routine janitorial tasks and ensuring cleanliness standards are met
• Safely handle chemical agents used in cleaning processes while following proper procedures for chemical handling and storage
• Assist with hotel housekeeping management tasks when needed, including inventory control of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly
• Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety during incidents or hazardous situations

Experience

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service
• Experience with cleaning equipment operation such as vacuums and floor care machinery is advantageous
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemical handling and heavy lifting ensures a safe working environment
• Demonstrated customer service skills contribute to positive interactions with guests and team members
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing heavy lifting requirements during laundry or cleaning duties
