DISHWASHER Part-Time | Shifts Available: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM & 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM $15-$17 per hour
Position Overview As a Dishwasher at the Courtyard by Marriott, you are an essential part of our food and beverage team. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment that supports our culinary team and upholds Marriott's cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, kitchen floors, and back-of-house spaces throughout your shift
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks as needed
- Monitor and maintain proper dishwasher chemical levels and temperatures
- Remove trash and maintain waste disposal areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code standards
- Communicate supply needs to kitchen leadership
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Basic knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items or moving supplies.
- Experience with food preparation or catering is a plus; familiarity with banquet settings is advantageous.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
