Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by bussing tables and clearing plates efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Help with basic food handling duties following proper safety protocols and sanitation guidelines.
- Support catering events or banquet setups by preparing serving stations and assisting with food presentation when needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to ensure compliance with food handling standards and prevent cross-contamination.
Skills
- Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations.
