MAINTENANCE

Job Description

JOB DUTIES:

1. Complete janitorial duties of public areas and property premises.

a. Empty waste receptacles of all public areas and parking lot.

b. Sweep and shovel as necessary

c. Maintain cleanliness of public areas and parking lot at all times.

2. Service pool and spa.

a. Test pool and spa as stated by State and City regulations

b. Check skimmers and water levels daily

c. Clean, adjust and perform minor repairs to pool and equipment

d. Clean and repair filter system

e. Distribute chemicals, in prescribed amounts, to purify water

3. Repairs and maintains any items on maintenance log or requests by Manager.

4. Keeps accurate records of key control changes.

5. Maintain all fixtures and equipment according to preventative maintenance

schedule completing four rooms per week and all public areas.

6. Before leaving, make a final check of property inside and out.

7. Available for needed repairs in emergency situations.

8. Distributing inventory to storage areas.

9. Being part of team to maintain high guest service scores.

10. Have a thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures and how to follow

the steps.

11. Perform all other duties as requested by Supervisor or Manager

General Description: The maintenance person is responsible for general repairs

and upkeep of property. This person is also responsible for servicing pool and spa and all

requests by Manager.

Basic Criteria: Must have strong mechanical background. Good time

management and be well organized.

Weight Requirements: 40-60 pounds for lifting

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
