Our Sr. Project Managers establish and manage the approach and standard for project delivery and governance, ensuring that clients maximize their return on investment. Responsible for team performance, they provide team members with the tools, support, and training essential to deliver the most effective and inventive result possible.
A CourtAvenue Sr. Project Manager takes ownership of all projects within a program to ensure completion on time, within budget and against set objectives. Confidence and creativity are key to addressing business needs, managing resources, and handling any issues that may arise.
\n- Own the day-to-day management of projects from initiation through implementation and deployment
- Ensure controls are followed, with the highest quality deliverables and milestones met
- Effectively balance resourcing, budgets, and time constraints to manage risks and pre-empt issues
- Develop contracts and design innovative delivery teams to best meet and exceed program objectives
- Evaluate and improve delivery practices and methodology
- Lead, inspire and grow a group of project managers/producers to foster a highly innovative, effective, and successful team
- Collaborate with the Account Management team to provide strategic delivery insight for client roadmaps and briefings
- Create integrated timelines across agency and client stakeholder teams
- Build relationships with external and internal stakeholders to meet program outcomes while exceeding client expectations
- Ensure a collaborative ‘one team’ approach of both client and agency
- Contribute to new business and pitch initiatives to secure a pipeline of work for the broader initiative
- Effectively clarify strategic requirements, manage expectations, and communicate roadblocks/resolutions to ensure key deadlines are met
- Able to communicate succinctly within a wide range of positions, personalities, and roles, internally and externally
- 4-5 years of analyst, project management, program management, technical, and/or business experience
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies, specifically Scrum
- Agency experience is highly preferred
- Experience in running or working with agile teams
- Significant experience leading, mentoring, and inspiring teams towards excellence and success
- Demonstrable ability to operate under tight deadlines
- Able to understand, balance, and manage the interplay between people, processes and systems
- Excellence in organization and management; conscientious, and skilled at solving issues at all project levels while supporting colleagues and clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Our organization follows a structured-hybrid work model, where employees work in an office environment in the middle of the week and remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
- Candidates for this position will ideally be located near one of our West coast offices:
- Los Angeles, CA
- San Diego, CA
- Candidates located in Cincinnati, OH, Chicago, IL, Minneapolis, MN, or Dallas, TX will also be considered.
This role is being considered at two levels based on experience:
- Senior Project Manager: $80,000 – $105,000 (4 years of relevant experience)
- Program Manager: $105,000 – $120,000 (6 years of relevant experience, including program-level oversight across multiple workstreams)
Final title and compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, scope of prior work, demonstrated leadership and geography.
