Manager, Talent Acquisition
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment team and drive hiring initiatives to attract top talent. The Manager, Talent Acquisition will develop and execute innovative recruiting strategies, oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, and ensure a positive candidate experience. This role involves working closely with leadership to understand hiring needs, building talent pipelines, and implementing best practices to improve recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring alignment with business needs and workforce planning.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of recruiters, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing talent acquisition team.
- End-to-End Recruitment Oversight: Oversee all stages of the recruiting process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding, ensuring that hiring practices meet quality, diversity, and speed targets.
- Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements, set clear expectations, and offer guidance on interviewing and candidate selection.
- Employer Branding: Partner with marketing and HR to enhance employer brand, promote company culture, and attract diverse, qualified candidates through targeted branding strategies.
- Sourcing and Pipeline Development: Develop proactive sourcing strategies to build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, using tools such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and networking.
- Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives: Ensure diversity and inclusion are embedded in all recruitment practices. Develop programs to attract a diverse pool of candidates and create an inclusive hiring experience.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Track key recruiting metrics, analyze trends, and provide insights to optimize recruiting effectiveness. Regularly report on hiring performance to senior management.
- Vendor and Agency Management: Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, ensuring service quality and adherence to company standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the recruiting process, implementing changes to increase efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring success.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure that all recruitment activities comply with legal standards and best practices. Stay informed on industry trends, talent market shifts, and recruitment technology advancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-7 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven success in managing full-cycle recruiting, including high-volume hiring and executive recruitment.
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies, sourcing techniques, and recruitment tools (e.g., ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated experience in employer branding, candidate experience, and diversity recruiting.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret recruitment metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification.
- Experience with HR software and applicant tracking systems (e.g., UKG).
- Knowledge of HR compliance and labor laws related to recruiting and hiring.
- Previous experience in technology industry hiring.
