Salary: $67,329.60 - $93,475.20 Annually
Future Salary Increase
** June 2026 – 4.07% increase to base pay (3.5% Across-the-Board .57% Market Adjustment)
** June 2027 – 3.57% increase to base pay (3.0% Across-the- Board .57% Market Adjustment)
The Office of the District Attorney is currently accepting applications for the position of Paralegal II.
Under the direction and general supervision of an attorney, incumbents are responsible for independently performing the full-range of paralegal duties for the more complex cases and/or supervising subordinate paralegal staff. They are responsible for assisting attorneys in preparing several types of hearing such as preliminary hearings, grand jury and trials.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- At least two (2) years of full-time journey-level paralegal experience in a law or government office setting assisting in preparing cases for trial while working under the direct supervision of an attorney; OR,
- At least two (2) years of experience as a Paralegal I in the County of San Diego.
Note: Legal secretarial, clerical, or investigative experience is not qualifying.
