Minimum Qualifications
1. A bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency OR any combination of “a” AND/OR “b” below totaling four (4) years or forty-eight (48) months:Notes:
One year of education shall consist of either thirty (30) passing semester units or forty-five (45) passing quarter units from a recognized accredited four-year college or university.
The education and/or experience requirements are established by the California State Board of Equalization (BOE). These requirements may be subject to change according to CA State Law or BOE guidance.

Must be eligible for certification from the California State Board of Equalization as an appraiser for property tax purposes at time of appointment. In accordance with the California State Board of Equalization, appointees to this class must possess or obtain permanent certification as an appraiser for property tax purposes within one (1) year of appointment and must maintain certification as a condition of continued employment.
Working Conditions
Travels extensively throughout the County of San Diego. May be assigned to any work location in the County of San Diego.

Conditions of Employment
As part of the County of San Diego’s pre-employment process, prospective candidates will undergo a background check (including fingerprinting) and a pre-employment medical screening prior to beginning County employment. Additional types of background investigations may be conducted based on the job-related activities of the position. Current County employees may be excluded from this process.
Qualified applicants will be placed on a six (6) month employment list based on scores received during the evaluation of information contained in their employment and supplemental applications.

Disaster Service Worker
Under California Government Code Sections 3100 - 3109, public employees are designated as disaster service workers. Disaster service workers are required to participate in such disaster service activities as may be assigned to them by their employer or by law.
Salary : $62,400 - $76,648
