Firefighter/EMTs, EMTs, Intermediates, and Paramedics

Rockbridge County Fire-Rescue has full-time and part-time employment opportunities for Paramedics, Intermediates, and EMTs.

Personnel will be responsible for responding to emergency situations and supporting relationships with volunteer and career personnel. Successful candidates must have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and valid Virginia Driver’s License, VA EMS/BLS certification, NIMS and ICS certification(s), EVOC and CPR. VDFP Firefighter I is preferred.

Starting pay ranges for full-time= $39,973-$52,717 and part-time= $19.22-$22.99/hour commensurate with certifications and experience.
