Position Overview: This position plays a key role in serving the citizens of Rockbridge County by providing excellent customer service and assisting with a variety of tax and clerical functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the public in person and by phone with courteous and professional service
- Process personal property filings
- Administer meals, lodging, and admission taxes
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties
- Utilize tax assessment software and meet established deadlines
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with the public and as part of a team
