The Auditor-Controller’s Office, within the Finance Department, is responsible for delivering transparent, accurate, and compliant financial services that support Mono County’s operations, residents, and public agencies. Core departmental functions include financial reporting, payroll administration, general accounting, property tax accounting and apportionment, accounts payable, treasury reconciliation, cost allocation, and compliance with state and federal reporting requirements.

Experience:
Three years of increasingly responsible government finance experience including two years of supervisory experience, preferably working in a public agency setting.
Training:
Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, public administration, business administration, or a related field.
