What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Deck Supervisor position at County of Monmouth?
Duties:
- Oversee daily reports, fee processing and recordkeeping.
- Work with full-time staff to maintain water balance in the pool and inspect the facility for safety and cleanliness at all times.
- Greet program participants, campers, and various groups when they arrive at the pool facility; professionally and effectively communicate and enforce pool rules & regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar supervisory role at a commercial pool or recreation facility required.
- Should be up to date with relevant professional certifications, i.e.; CPO/Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED, or enrolled in class.
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid NJ driver’s license.
- Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to provide adequate support to summer staff and full-time staff.
Hours: 20-40 hours per week, June-August, may include evenings and weekends
Pay: starting pay $19 per hour; depending on experience
