What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Booking Supervisor position at COUNTY OF LEHIGH PENNSYLVANIA?
General Definition:
- This position requires working at The County Regional Central Booking Center inside the Lehigh County Prison and involves supervising employees in the processing of suspected criminals such as; photographing, fingerprinting, DUI testing and monitoring arraignments.
Typical Examples of Work:
- Hiring and training of new employees
- Scheduling employees to maintain operation of Central Booking
- Writing and enforcing policies
- Monitoring flow of defendants through Central Booking
- Working with numerous County offices so as to continue continuity between departments
Required Knowledge:
- Ability to interact with employees
- Knowledge of the LIVESCAN and CPIN process
- Basic understanding the PSP AFIS system
- Basic fingerprint knowledge
- Basic computer knowledge
Acceptable Training and Experience:
- Education equivalent to a high school diploma with two years experience as a Police Officer or an Associates Degree or any other equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience which has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities cited above.
